Avokado urges musicians to collaborate for growth

Amapiano artist Christopher Malera, widely known by his stage name Avokado, has called for collaboration among musicians to boost Malawi’s music industry.

Avokado stressed the importance of artists understanding their audiences and leveraging social media platforms to expand their reach beyond Malawi.

The call for collaboration follows his recent song “Mulungu Alinafe” which features  Kamuzu Barracks Gospel Singers and the Masintha Choir.

With a decade in the music industry, Avocado has released notable songs such as “Chitsime” “Ndayima Njii” and “Patsogolo” the latter has reached over a million views on YouTube.
