Mangochi Senior Resident Magistrate Court has acquitted Bon Kalindo on charges of proposing violence.
Kalindo was answering the charges following violent acts that occurred on 30 November 2023 when he led anti-government demonstrations.
In his ruling, Senior Resident Magistrate Muhammed Chande said the court had acquitted Kalindo because the State had failed to produce enough evidence.
