Baka City Football Club has secured its first win of the 2024 TNM Super League against Bangwe All Stars at Karonga Stadium.
Geoffrey Mwakyembe scored at the 58th-minute mark, followed by a goal from Amon Kitalu at 60 minutes.
Baka City FC’s coach Kondwani Mwalweni expressed his happiness with the team’s first win of the season.
Bangwe All Stars FC Coach, Rodgers Yasin, criticised his players for failing to capitalise on numerous scoring opportunities.
With the win, Baka City FC has seven points and is in position 15 on the TNM Super League log table while Bangwe All Stars FC is in 14th place.
