Prime Minister of Iceland Bjarni Benediktsson has this morning paid a courtesy to President Dr Lazarus Chakwera at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe.
Upon arrival, Benediktsson was welcomed by Local Government Minister, Richard Chimwendo Banda.
When the Prime Minister met President Chakwera, the two exchanged gifts before going into a private meeting.
Both are expected to grace the 2024 African Population conference, which is underway at the BICC in Lilongwe.
