2024 JCE exams start on a positive note

The 20224 Junior Certificate of Education examination has started on a positive note in various schools across the country.

Deputy Minister of Education Nancy Chaola Mdooko inspected Mchinji Secondary School and later at Ngowe Community Day Secondary School in Lilongwe to appreciate how the exams have started.

Mdooko said she is happy with the way exams have commenced in all the 2 centers and was impressed to see girls toping the list. She added that the Ministry signed the Memorandum of Understanding with MANEB, Malawi Defence Force and Malawi Police Service to provide security in all examination centers.

This year, 163,950 students are taking part compared to last where 168, 219 students sat for the exams.
