Female journalists in the country have been advised to use Artificial Intelligence in line with journalistic professionalism and ethics.
Director of News and Programmes at the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation, Zilani Khonje Phiri, made the remarks in Lilongwe during a Women In News Alumni Skills Building and Networking Conference.
The aim of the conference was to motivate female journalists to upscale their skills to be productive in the industry.
“The world is changing and moving too fast. It is time to accept change and be able to deliver. AI is very important but it is how you use it to ensure that you maintain your professionalism,” said Phiri.
