Mighty Mukuru Wanderers in partnership with Smile Life Insurance Company Limited has launched a membership registration exercise for their supporters in Blantyre.
Smile Life which also sponsors the Wanderers Man of the Match Award, will provide funeral cover services to the Nomads in various categories.
The categories include Platinum with an annual registration fee of K175,000 and a funeral cover of K2.5 million from Smile Life along with other VIP benefits. Other categories are Nyerere Gold, Nyerere Silver, Nyerere Bronze and Nyerere Classic each with an annual fee of K10,000.
Wanderers Chief Executive Officer, Panganeni Ndovi, said that the registration will help the club to know the number of their supporters and assist them in preparing for life outside football.
Smile Life Chief Executive Officer, Beatrice Mangwana, emphasized the company’s commitment to continue supporting the ‘Blue Family’ in all aspects.
This development comes as the Nomads are set to face their traditional rivals, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in a Blantyre derby at Kamuzu Stadium in the FDH Bank Cup Round of 16 on 28 July 2024.
