President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has given a three-week deadline to the Department Of Immigration Services to resume printing of passports three weeks from now.
Dr Chakwera says as long as he is President he will not tolerate the government paying ransom to criminals who have hacked the system at the department.
He says his administration will track down the criminals who have hacked the system and will be brought to book.
