President Chakwera to meet Rotary International president

President Dr Lazarus Chakwera is this morning meeting President of the Rotary International, Gordon Mclnally.

McInally arrived in the country on Tuesday and this is the first time for a Rotary International President to Visit Malawi in 20 years.

While in the country, Mclnally has commissioned radiology and ultrasound equipment at Blessings Hospital at Lumbadzi in Lilongwe and has launched Family Health Days to encourage Malawians to get tested and screened for a range of preventable diseases.

The Rotary Club has been implementing different projects in Malawi in areas such as education,environment, health and hygiene.

This is the last day of his three-day visit to Malawi and is also expected to visit Nigeria, Chad, Rwanda, South Africa, and Egypt.

Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million members on a mission to change the world in different areas.
