Peoples Development Party (PDP) has announced the launch of its campaign period for its forthcoming convention on September 13-14 this year in Blantyre.
PDP’s Secretary General, Simeon Phiri, made the announcement during a press briefing in Lilongwe.
Phiri called on young people and women to take part in the convention by contesting for the over 50 positions that are up for grabs in the party.
PDP says those vying for the Presidency and Vice President’s positions will be required to pay K1.5 million and K1.3 million, respectively.
