Nsanje youth urged to refrain from political violence

Political parties in Nsanje have appealed to the youth in the district to refrain from violence as the country draws closer to the 2025 general elections.

The appeal was made on Friday during a day-long political parties engagement organised by the Women Legal Resource Centre and Oxfam.

United Democratic Front District Organizing Secretary, Alinafe Mdala advised the youth not to be misled by political leaders to engage in political violence act.

Youth representative from the Malawi Congress Party, Malick Ganizani echoed M’dala’s sentiments adding that the youth should not forget that they are all Malawians regardless of their political affiliations.

“We are all Malawians regardless of political differences,” said Ganizani.
