Moyale Football Club has thrashed Chintheche United FC by seven goals to one in the FDH Bank Cup round of 32 at Mzuzu Stadium.
Moyale Barracks were the first to score through Emmanuel Allan at 8 minutes while Charles Nkhoma scored in the 19th minute before Prince Phiri and Chifundo Damba scored at 38 and 65 minutes respectively and the other goals were scored at 45, 69 and 71 minutes.
The consolation goal for Chintheche United FC was scored by Kondwani Jere in the 80th minute.
Moyale Barracks FC mentor, Pritchard Mwansa, said it was their aim to reach the round of 16 in the trophy while his counterpart for Chintheche, Macmillan Banda, blamed his goalkeeper for poor goalkeeping.
In another match in the FDH Cup played at Karonga Stadium, Karonga United FC has beaten Mzuzu City Hammers by two goals to one.
