President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has arrived in Mangochi for official tour of duty in the Eastern Region.
The President has been welcomed by multitudes of people clad in Malawi Congress Party (MCP) colour at Mangochi round about, where he is making a brief stop over to address the gathering.
Notable figures present include MCP second deputy secretary general, Gerald Kazembe, the party’s Eastern Region Chairperson Foster Mtandama, government officials traditional leaders and members of the clergy.
