MADAM CHAKWERA VISITS PHALOMBE CYCLONE SURVIVORS

First Lady Madam Monica Chakwera has visited Cyclone Freddy survivors in Bokosi Village in Phalombe District.

Madam Chakwera denounced theft of relief aid meant for people who have been affected by the cyclone.

“It is my wish that relief items benefit those in need,” said the First Lady.

She called on people to blow the whistle when they suspect any foul play.

According to District Commissioner for Phalombe, Douglas Moffat, 21,000 households have been affected while over 200 people are still missing.
