Senior Resident Magistrate Court in Lilongwe has suspended Bon Kalindo’s warrant of arrest.
Presenting the ruling, Magistrate Wanangwa Nyirenda said the warrant of arrest was presented in an unprocedural manner, adding Kalindo was supposed to be notified before effecting it.
The court said the state was supposed to summon Kalindo and hear why he was not reporting as per bail conditions before effecting the warrant of arrest.
The court further said it would therefore summon Kalindo to hear why he hasn’t been honouring the bail conditions.
