Tobacco farmers are smiling their way to the bank as Flue Cured leaf at the Kanengo Auction floors is fetching higher prices, with Alliance One offering $4.40 per kilogramme.

The highest offering that had been registered since the market opened on Monday morning was $3.05 cents at the Chinkhoma Auction floors followed by Limbe Auction floors at $3.11.
