Chaula made the remarks at Mponela in Dowa district where he closed a 4-day training for 80 extension farmers who have been trained in agricultural business skills, innovative and technological farming methods and better ways of deciding marketable crops.

Director of Market Systems at the Center for Agricultural Transformation, Cuthbert Lunduka said the training has targeted 20,000 farmers. Each of the newly certified lead farmers is expected to share their knowledge with others in their respective communities.
