As part of motivating learners to have an interest in pursuing a career in mass media, learners from Chisawani Primary School from Thyolo District toured Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) studios at the Broadcasting House in Blantyre.
Speaking after the tour, the senior section head for Chisaweni Primary School, Chokani Wales said the education visit has helped to broaden the learners’ perspective and knowledge about radio news production and transmission.
Wales added that the education tour has made learning fun and interactive thereby helping students retain information better.
Adrian Anisa, a Standard 6 learner said the visit has motivated him to develop an interest and passion in journalism.
