President Dr Lazarus Chakwera will visit Chitipa district today where he will carry out a number of public engagements.
According to Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Colleen Zamba, Dr Chakwera will at 9am appreciate the construction of security houses at Meru Battalion and thereafter tour Marko Ifumbo irrigation scheme in Chief Mwabulambya’s area in the district.
The Malawi leader will also tour the construction site of the Chitipa – Illomba Road before inspecting construction works at Chitipa Stadium.
Yesterday, the President visited Karonga District where he cheered flood victims and toured development initiatives.
