Community Focus Organization (COFO), with support from Bridge Kids, the University of Louisville and Supplies Overseas, has donated medical supplies and equipment to Chikwawa District Hospital in a bid to enhance health services.
COFO Board Chairperson, Pastor Ganizani Valantin, said the donation is part of their commitment to improving the well-being of people in Chikwawa by ensuring that they lead healthy lives.
District Hospital Administrator, Hope Moyo, said the donation has come at a good time as it will help alleviate some of the challenges the hospital was facing.
Moyo added that, through the stores’ office, they will ensure the materials are kept safe and are used for their intended purpose.
The donation included beds, mattresses and theatre materials.
