Chakwera leaves for Malawi

After fulfilling a number of official duties in Kenya, President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has left Nairobi for Malawi.

While in Kenya, Dr Chakwera attended the Africa Fertiliser and Soil Health Summit which was organised by the African Union.

The Malawi Leader also held bilateral talks with host President William Ruto and attended high level mediation talks for South Sudanese government and its opposition.

On the final leg of the visit, President Chakwera engaged development partners to support Malawi’s National Action Plan for Fertilizer and Soils for improved agricultural output where he secured financial support for the plan.
