Captains of Industry are emphasizing the need to close information gaps on cross-border trade among small and medium scale traders.
Chief Executive Officer for the Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI), Daisy Kambalame, has said this during an engagement with Cross-border Traders Association of Malawi.
She has stressed that awareness of procedures as well as addressing non-tariff barriers is key to improving trade facilitation.
President of the Association, Steven Yohane, said they are hopeful that more of such engagements would help to iron out challenges they face.
