- President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has a tight schedule in Davos, Switzerland as he represents Malawi, Least Development Countries (LDCs) and Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) at the international forum.
According to the State House Press Office, the Malawi leader will be engaged in various meetings on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum starting with a welcome reception this evening at Davos Congress Centre.
Dr Chakwera will be joined by other leaders at the World Economic Forum scheduled to take place in Davos from the 21st to the 25th of May, 2022.
On his return from the forum, the Malawi leader will proceed to Equatorial Guinea to attend the 15th Extraordinary Summit Meeting of the African Union on Humanitarian Matters and Pledging Conference and the 16th Extraordinary Summit on Terrorism and Unconstitutional Changes of Government.
The Malawi leader is expected to return home on 29 May.
