Blantyre Golf Club in partnership with Build Africa have donated assorted items to Queens Elizabeth Central Hospital’s Children’s Cancer Ward.
The donation, which is worth K3.3 million, was raised during an Annual Golf tournament which was initiated by Build Africa at Blantyre Sports Club three weeks ago.
Blantyre Golf Club ladies captain, Diana Kambale and Build Africa Head of Marketing, Davie Sapuwa, said they jointly agreed to use golf to raise funds for the ward.
Some of the donated items are Oxygen cylinder, chairs, plates, clothes, plastic water buckets, a wheelchair, and children’s toys.
