Mobile telecommunications service provider, TNM, has appreciated what it calls ‘the important role’ played by the Bankers Association of Malawi (BAM) in enhancing banking services across the country.
The company says BAM has been instrumental in advocating for and supporting policies that benefit all Malawians, through its expertise and leadership.
TNM Mpamba Products Manager, Moses Dossi, said this in Blantyre when presenting a K3.5 million cheque to BAM to support its Annual Lakeshore Conference.
Dossi said provision of the support comes after noting that TNM and BAM drive the same agenda of promoting financial inclusion.
BAM Chief Executive Officer, Lynnes Nkungula, said TNM’s gesture was a timely boost for the conference.
Nkungula observed that a country without a robust financial inclusion can not experience economic development.
This years BAM’s conference will fall under the theme: “Financial Inclusion and Sustainability for All”.
