About 31 members of staff at Sunbird Hotels and Resorts in the Southern Region have been awarded for working with the company for a period spanning 10 to 30 years.
They received certificates of recognition and pocketed shopping vouchers whose value ranged from K263,000 to K482,000 each.
One of the board members for the company, Maureen Mbeye, said the workers have shown loyalty, commitment, and hard work throughout the period.
One of the recognised employees, Felix Murotho, said hard work and focus has helped him remain committed to his work.
The staff were drawn from Sunbird Nkopola in Mangochi, Sunbird Ku Chawe in Zomba, and Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre.
