NWRA engages media managers from central & northern region

National Water Resources Authority (NWRA) Chief Executive Officer Dwight Kambuku has urged editors and media managers to help the institution raise awareness on sustainable use of water resources.

This, he said, is key to achieving industrialisation, urbanisation and commercialisation as highlighted in the Malawi 2063 blueprint

Kambuku has said this in Dowa District at a meeting with editors and media managers from the central and northern region.

NWRA is mandated to manage and regulate water resources in the country to ensure there is sustainable and effective use of the commodity for all.

“We want to share notes with national and community media institutions on how to sustainably manage and regulate water resources but also discuss with media managers strategies that can be used to avert calamities that emanate from incorrect use of the commodity,” Kambuku said.
