Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has assured Malawians of its preparedness to deliver a fair, credible and transparent election on 16 September this year.
Civic and Voter Education Manager at MEC, King Rudi, made these remarks in Mzuzu during a training session for their constituency workers on the process of transferring registered voters.
The training focused on assisting registered voters who have relocated to new areas, enabling them to vote in the constituencies nearest to them.
Rudi emphasised that the voter transfer exercise will begin on 25 February this year to ensure that all registered voters can participate fully in the voting process.
Meanwhile, MEC has since reiterated its commitment to respecting the rights of voters by providing the necessary information to ensure a credible election.
