The Malawi Congress Party (MCP) has welcomed into its fold businessman Changa Kaunda also known as Changa K and several other individuals that have joined the party in Nkhatabay District.
MCP Regional Chairperson for North-South, Joseph Chavula, said the people joined the party because of development projects the Chakwera Administration is implementing in the district.
“Let me just talk about Nkhatabay, there is a huge water and sanitation development project which Chakwera has just delivered and it will be commissioned early September. This is why people are coming to join the party in large numbers,” said Chavula.
In his remarks, Changa K said he is happy that finally, the people of Nkhatabay Central have access to clean and potable water. He pledged to advance the vision of the Chakwera Administration to deliver more projects in the district.
