The Ministry of Tourism says it is carrying out a lot of trainings in order to increase the number of skilled personnel in wildlife management.
Principal Secretary in the Ministry, Chauncy Simwaka, was speaking at the Malawi College of Forestry and Wildlife in Dedza District during the graduation of 30 Wildlife Management Officers.
Simwaka has since called on the graduants to execute their duties diligently and professionally to safeguard the country’s biodiversity.
The course was organised with financial support from the Malawi Watershed Services Improvement Project (MWASIP).
