The Malawi National Council of Sports has announced that the 2024 Malawi Sports Awards, themed Celebrating Sports Excellence, will take place on 28 February 2025.
For the first time, the event will be held in Mangochi.
Speaking at a press briefing in Blantyre, Chairperson of the Awards Organising Committee, Limbani Matola, said that winners will be recognised across 14 categories.
This year’s awards introduce a new element to the voting process, allowing the public to vote between 10 February and 20 February 2025.
Public votes will account for 30 per cent of the final decision.
