iMoSyS DEVELOPS SECURITY APP

As Malawi takes some steps in the field of Information Communications  Technology, iMoSyS has developed an application called Alonda.

According to Desire Peno, iMoSyS Business Development Manager,  Alonda is a game changer in ICT space.

Peno said: “Alonda is a threefold product, an app that is used to alert neighbours, loved ones, and useful in rapid response when one faces an emergency. It is also a  directory that every household can use to find essential services and a platform where businesses have access to a wider clientele.”

Peno further explained that  Alonda has been designed to promote Small and Medium Enterprises including individual entrepreneurs to register their businesses on Alonda for free.

She further said that the innovative app has a  positive impact on the country’s economic growth.

“The app is available for download across the country on Google Play and App Store,” added Peno.

According to iMoSyS, every subscriber on Alonda has access to services like real estate, gas, refrigeration, solar, electrical, plumbing,  cleaning and fumigation.

Meanwhile, iMoSyS has challenged Malawians to support local innovations saying such initiatives have the potential of creating more employment for young people in the country.

iMoSyS is the pioneer in providing digital solutions with social impact in Malawi’s health, agriculture, energy, and water sectors. – MBC Online Services.
