Treasurer for Malawi Beach Soccer Association, Force Ngwira, has pledged K500,000 to the team that will emerge champions in the in the HTD-FAM National Beach Soccer Championship tomorrow.
Ngwira made the announcement after Beach Eagles defeated NOIL eight goals to one, saying he was impressed by the stiff competition which is taking place in Mangochi.
General Secretary for Malawi Beach Soccer Association Wakisa Mwambetania welcomed the gesture.
” Let me first thank Ngwira for topping up K500,000 to the team that will emerge winners tomorrow. This is a welcome development and it means that the champions will receive K3.5 million,” Mwambetania said.
Beach Eagles from Chintheche are the defending champions of the 2022 HTD-FAM National Beach Soccer Championship.
