The Governance to Enable Service Delivery (GESD) Project has commenced construction of Chilengo Health Post in Thyolo Thava, with a budget of K222 million.
Thyolo District Commissioner, Hudson Kuphanga, says that over 10,000 people from Traditional Authority Mphuka are expected to benefit from the facility, which is anticipated to be completed within three months.
The Member of Parliament for the area, Mary Navicha, expressed joy over the development.
“People in this area will now be able to receive medical attention nearby,” Navicha said.
