Balaka Police women inspire primary school learners

Female Police Officers from Balaka Police Station have urged Standard 8 learners from Maduwani Zone in Balaka District to work hard in their studies and have since sponsored Primary School Leaving Certificate (PSLC) examination fees for 45 learners.

Handing over the support during a ceremony at Utale 2 Primary School, chairlady of Balaka Police Women Network, Brenda Bamusi, said they want to see more learners going further with their education.

Primary Education Advisor for the zone, Grace Mwalabu, said the gesture will motivate the learners to put an extra gear during preparations for their exams next year.

The 45 learners (20 boys and 25 girls) were selected from nine schools within Maduwani Zone.
