Sons and Daughters of Area 25 in Kanengo, Lilongwe, a grouping of citizens born and staying in the area, has reiterated its commitment to working with the police by conducting a cleaning exercise at the Kanengo Police Station.
The group’s founding member, Anjiru Haji, acknowledged the importance of collaboration between the community and police.
Community Policing Coordinator, Graciano Chirombo, hailed the gesture, describing it as a sign of good partnership between the law enforcers and community members.
The group has been working closely with the police on crime prevention awareness and other issues for many years.
