Police in Limbe and Bangwe have arrested 71 people over various offences in a sweeping exercise conducted during the night of July 5, 2022, in Limbe and Bangwe townships in Blantyre.
The suspects have been charged with various offences including; robbery, operating a bar without a licence, idle and disorderly.
Limbe Police Publicist, Patrick Mussa said those nabbed will appear before court after completion of paperwork.
Meanwhile, police have reiterated that operations of this nature are ongoing until all criminal activities are put to a halt. – MBC Online Services.
