Chairperson of the Public Appointments Committee of Parliament (PAC) Joyce Chitsulo has confirmed the appointment of Jean Priminta by the government as the new Financial Intelligence Authority (FIA) Director.
Chitsulo told MBC that Priminta’s confirmation hearing by her committee will take place on Thursday.
The appointee is currently the Chief State Advocate.
She is also Head of the Asset Forfeiture Unit (AFU) in the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
