Police in Karonga have urged for coordination among stakeholders in the fight against crime in the district.
The call was made during an interface that Karonga Police hosted with the business community in the district.
According to Karonga Police Public Relations Officer George Mulewa, the police have engaged different stakeholders in the district as a way of reminding the community on security matters as the country celebrates independence day on 6th July this year.
Skeva Chisale from Cross- Border- Karonga Chapter said the meeting is beneficial for the district and urged police officers to be quick in responding to issues that involve security.
