The Association of Muslim Journalists (AMUJO) is today holding its first Annual General Meeting in Blantyre.
Minister of Water and Sanitation, Abida Sidik Mia, is gracing the occasion.
According to the AGM’s organising committee chairperson, Chekaukutu Ndege, the association seeks to empower Muslim journalists with professional expertise in various areas of their career.
The theme for the AGM is “Empowering Muslim journalists to dispel misconceptions about Islam and bring sanity to the world”.
