14 to benefit from Mpinganjira’s business capital project

An additional 14 youths are expected to benefit from Triephornia Mpinganjira’s “Kuthandiza omwe alibe kuthekera kupita patsogolo ” project courtesy of a K14 million financial boost from entrepreneur and philanthropist Thomson Mpinganjira.

Writing on her Facebook page, Triephornia Mpinganjira said this additional K14 million received from her husband and business partner has increased the expected last cohort of winners from 16 to 30.

She further said the 30 winners, expected to be announced on 30th August this year, will be drawn from the 96,000 applications they have received.

Under the project, youth entrepreneurs have been provided with K1 million start-up capital after successfully presenting an award-winning business proposal.

So far, four winners have already been announced, each pocketing K1 million to start their proposed businesses.
