Wetlands, Wildlife, Rangers Day joint commemoration in Rumphi

Minister of Tourism Vera Kamtukule and wildlife officials are presiding over the joint commemoration of Wetlands, Wildlife, and Rangers Day, currently taking place in Rumphi.

The event highlights the importance of collaboration and knowledge-sharing in conservation efforts and enhances the inter-connectedness of wetlands, wildlife, and rangers in maintaining a healthy environment.

The days are commemorated differently across the globe, with World Wetlands Day on 2 February, World Wildlife Day on 3 March, and World Rangers Day on 31 July every year.

The theme for this commemoration is “People and Nature Conservation.”
