TRADE PROGRAMME SUPPORTS THYOLO DAIRY FARMERS

Cases of dumping litres of milk due to power outages will soon be history for dairy farmers under the Mangunda Milk Bulking Group in Thyolo District.

This follows a K100 million grant, the group has received from the Transforming Agriculture through Diversification and Entrepreneurship (TRADE) Programme to purchase solar electricity backup system and a water tank.

“We are very ready to fund innovative ideas,” said Chidothe.
