Realising the critical role the business community plays in the Socio-Economic development of the country, President Dr Lazarus Chakwera and First Lady Madam Monica Chakwera on Friday hosted business captains to a dinner at the State Lodge in Mzuzu.
On a number of occasions, Dr Chakwera has been calling on the private sector to actively participate in creating job opportunities that will contribute to wealth creation and sustainable development in Malawi.
Among those in attendance is Minister of Trade and Industry, Sosten Gwengwe, Speaker of Parliament, Catherine Gotani Hara, Chief Executive Officer for NBS Bank Kwanele Ngwenya, MCCCI president Lekani Katundula and other stakeholders.
