Mia urge Muslims to share with the less privileged

Muslims in the country have been implored to share with the less privileged people during the holy month of Ramadan.

Minister of Water and Sanitation Abida Mia made the call when she donated maize flour to over 700 families in the area of Traditional Authority Mkanda in Mulanje.

“I urge organizations and well-wishers to assist people who are living in hard to reach areas during this holy month of Ramadan,” said Mia.

Mia has since pledged to continue with the legacy left by her late husband, Muhammad Sidik Mia, who was a philanthropist.
