A 27-year-old Jonathan Mzumara reportedly hanged himself while his wife and son were found dead with their heads chopped off in the same house in the Kambwe area in Karonga District.
Police Spokesperson for Karonga, George Mulewa, told MBC that a villager pipped through the window and saw a body of Mzumara hanging from the roof in the sitting room.
He then called village members who entered and found the bodies of Mervis Kumwenda,21, a wife to Mzumara and their 2-year-old Ian Mzumara lying on the floor with heads cut off.
