Good Neighbours Malawi has donated antibiotics worth K2.8 billion to Lilongwe District Health Office (LL DHO) to help cure recurring diseases.
Director of Health and Social Services at LL DHO, Dr Wilson Chingani, said the donation is a timely response to the needs of the community.
Good Neighbors Malawi Country Director, Gyojin Joo, said her organisation’s mandate is to ensure that the most vulnerable, especially children, are treated with care.
Joo appealed to the district health office to use the drugs for their intended purpose.
Good neighbours Malawi has made similar donations to Kasungu and Mchinji district health offices in the past.
