Chisemphere Football Club are the 2024 champions of the K5 million Mike Bango Trophy following their 2-0 win over Chifwefwe FC in a match played on Sunday at Nkhamenya Primary School ground in Kasungu.
Mike Bango, a Malawi Congress Party parliamentarian for Kasungu North Constituency said he organised the tournament to help unearth talent in rural communities.
Chisemphere FC have since pocketed K500 000 while the runners up have pocketed K300 000.
