Balaka Police to promote road safety, strengthen security over Easter

Balaka Police Station is geared to prevent road accidents during the Easter Holiday, according to its officials.

Brenda Khofi, the Traffic Officer for Balaka Police, says they will be conducting day and night patrols in all accident-prone areas and also carry out sensitisation campaigns for all road users on how to prevent accidents.

Additionally, Dan Sauteni, who is the Officer in-Charge, says they will deploy uniformed and ununiformed officers in crime-prone areas to curb crimes.

The Easter Holidays will start on March 29 and end on April 1, 2024.
