United Civil Servants SACCO (UCSSACCO) has urged Malawians to actively assist the government in realising the Malawi 2063, a direct response to the government’s call for collaborative efforts in securing a sustainable future.
Francis Waliwa, Chief Executive Officer for UCSSACCO, stressed that their organisation is already doing its part in transforming people’s lives through loans and empowering some with entrepreneurial skills to promote financial independence.
Waliwa revealed that UCSSACCO has employed more than 200 youths working in various positions as one way of fostering wealth creation.
He also described the organisation’s 2023 performance as groundbreaking, with an increase in assets from K16 billion to K28 billion, representing a 67% increase.
UCSSACCOalso provides scholarship programmes and various human empowerment projects as part of its corporate social responsibility.
